Savio House is seeking a Multisystemic Therapist (MST) to provide in-home services across the Denver metro area. The MST program targets youth aged 12-17 demonstrating delinquent behaviors and partners with families to implement evidence-based strategies.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, autonomous work, and regular supervision toward licensure, with comprehensive benefits and a strong supportive team.

Qualifications

• Master’s in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy or related field.
• Bachelors with extensive experience considered on a case-by-case basis.
• DORA registration to provide therapy such as LPCC, MFTC, SWC.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a small, intensive caseload of 5-6 families.
• Conduct therapy in the community and in families’ homes.
• Utilize CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Behavior Modification, Structural and Strategic Family Therapies.
• Prevent out-of-home placement and incarceration.
• Break cycles of system involvement and empower families to create lasting change.
• Engage primary caregiver and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment.
• Meet weekly for group supervision and expert consultation.

Savio is hiring family therapists! Savio will pay for training for therapists to provide Multisystemic Therapy.

Description

MST (Multisystemic Therapy) is a scientifically proven treatment model that targets youth 12-17 who are exhibiting delinquent-type behaviors such as running away, substance use, defiance, aggression, and truancy. Therapists work closely with parents and caregivers to leverage change by working in families’ homes and in the community.

This position provides in-home services for the Denver metro area.

What does an MST therapist do?

• Maintain small, intensive caseload of 5-6 families.

Salary:

Starting with candidacy (LPCC, SWC, MFTC): $58,660

Starting Licensed (LCSW, LPC, LMFT): $61,660

Starting MA Bilingual: $63,660
