Job summary

Community Services for Children in the Lehigh Valley is seeking a Family Specialist to support the ELRC by assisting families seeking Early Learning information and opportunities for their children.

The role involves providing friendly, comprehensive customer service, conducting needs assessments, and guiding families through applications for Child Care Works and other programs. This is a full-time position in a well-established organization with strong community impact.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required in social work, business admin, early childhood/human services, or related field.
• Ability to help customers and colleagues solve problems in a friendly, informed manner.
• Ability to use required databases and tracking/reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to families seeking information and opportunities for healthy development.
• Meet with families to conduct needs assessments and provide referrals for access to services.
• Conduct daily program activities for Family Services, handling inquiries and referrals to ensure efficient operation.
• Accurately process program actions in a timely manner, maintaining timelines and compliance.
• Assist families with completion of applications for public early learning programs.
