Job summary

New Hanover County Schools seeks a Family Liaison to facilitate communication between school staff and parents at College Park Elementary. The position is ten months, non-exempt, starting salary in Grade 57, with duties to support effective home-school communication for NHCS students.

Reporting to the Principal, this role requires strong data entry, computer and communication skills, and preferably bilingual abilities to assist families and staff across the school community.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Experience in an office environment with responsibility for a large variety of complex duties including data entry.
• Strong computer and communication skills.
• Bilingual skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication between school staff and parents.
• Perform other duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective communication between the school and home of New Hanover County School students.
