Partnership for Maternal & Child Health of Northern New Jersey seeks a Family Partner at the Unity Family Success Center in Irvington, NJ. The role welcomes participants, conducts intake tasks, and connects families with needed resources, acting as a friendly community contact and presenting outreach activities.

The position requires bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, strong communication and organizational skills, and experience in community-based services.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred or commensurate experience in human services.
• Two years of experience in community-based services or human service programs.
• Experience in prevention-related programs required.
• Three to five years of administrative experience preferred.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required (reading, writing, speaking).
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Greet visitors in person and over the phone in a professional and friendly manner, offering welcome tours.
• Instruct participants to complete program forms and direct them appropriately.
• Connect families to needed resources with information, referrals, and advocacy.
• Assist with Family Success Center activities and events, including marketing and outreach.
• Track service data daily and report metrics to management monthly.
• Translate program materials into Spanish to ensure accessibility and cultural relevance.
• Interpret and adapt workshop content into Spanish to maintain accuracy and engagement.
• Facilitate and deliver workshops in Spanish, ensuring participant engagement and inclusion.
• Assist with tracking and organizing materials and program supplies/inventory.
• Support office functions including mail processing and event catering.
