Job summary

Women In Need (Win) in New York City is seeking a bilingual Family Case Manager to support immigrant, asylum-seeking, and migrant families through the LEAD Program.

You will guide families through immigration-related processes, assess needs, connect them with legal services, and help access housing, education, and employment while coordinating with shelter staff. A NYS LMSW or LMHC is required within 90 days of hire and travel across five boroughs is expected.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish; strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willing to obtain NY LMSW or LMHC within 90 days of hire.
• Experience supporting immigrant or vulnerable populations is valued.
• Willingness to travel across NYC boroughs to provide services.

Responsibilities

• Guide immigrant families through immigration-related processes and connect them to benefits and resources.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments to identify service needs and develop individualized plans.
• Coordinate with legal service providers and attorneys to support asylum-seeking and migrant families.
• Identify eligible families for LEAD services and engage through outreach and follow-up.
• Advocate for clients' housing, education, employment, and community resource access.
• Collaborate with Case Managers, Housing Coordinators, and shelter staff to support housing stability and service delivery.
• Utilize trauma-informed practices, including motivational interviewing and family-centered case management.
• Build relationships with immigrant communities and stay updated on immigration-related services.
