Youth Villages seeks a Bilingual Family Intervention Specialist to support in-home services for youth and families. The role involves family sessions, ongoing assessments, and collaboration with multiple systems to create tailored treatment plans.

The position requires English and Spanish and/or Portuguese fluency, a social services degree, and willingness to travel up to 60–80 miles to meet families in their homes. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a social services discipline preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline required.
• Experience working with at-risk youth and/or families preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Flexible schedule based on youth/family availability.

Responsibilities

• Carries a caseload of 4 to 6 families.
• Holds individual and family sessions with each family 3 times a week.
• Conducts ongoing assessment of youth to determine needs.
• Attends 3 weekly meetings for professional development.
• Drives up to 60 to 80 miles to meet families in homes.
• Collaborates with providers, case workers, and courts on treatment plan.
• Provides on-call crisis support to youth and family.
• Completes accurate documentation in the EMR system.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
