Job summary

Howard County Public School System seeks a Temporary Bilingual Program Assistant to support the Judy Center Early Learning Hub at Stevens Forest Elementary School. The role provides bilingual family engagement, outreach, and resource coordination for families with children from birth through age five.

Under supervision, you will connect Spanish-speaking families with educational and community services, assist with interpretation, and help staff coordinate family events and documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Two years of clerical, secretarial, administrative, or office support experience.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide bilingual family engagement, outreach, and resource coordination.
• Conduct outreach with families through in-person visits, virtual meetings, and calls.
• Provide interpretation and translation services for Judy Center programs.
• Support planning and execution of family engagement events.
