National Youth Advocate Program seeks a Family Advocate EFSP to support children and families by providing advocacy and in-home services. You will work with clients and partners to help them live safely in the community.
The role requires Spanish proficiency, CERAP certification (or progress toward it), and a Bachelor's in human services with 2+ years of experience. Evening/weekend hours may be required; strong driving record and insurance needed.
$48,000.00 annually
The schedule is Monday-Friday 8-5pm, flexible to meet program needs. some evening and weekend required
Under the general supervision of the Program Director or designee, this position works to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families served. This position works closely with NYAP clients and community partners, providing advocacy and support toward the goal of living safely and successfully in the community.
The person in this position needs to follow a team concept and support both agency goals and co-workers. Employees must be able to effectively work with and be respectful and sensitive to people from various cultures, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, and racial backgrounds.
