Job summary

The Pathfinder Network is seeking a full-time Facilitator/Coach to deliver cognitive-behavioral and Parenting Inside Out programs to adults in custody within a correctional setting. You will lead classes, model pro-social behavior, and support program fidelity.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree, Spanish bilingual, experience in facilitation, and readiness to work in a controlled environment. The role includes travel within Oregon and benefits and a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• At least 1 year of related experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish required.
• Group facilitation skills.
• Non-profit experience and/or experience working in the criminal justice system.
• Lived experience with addiction and recovery preferred.
• Experience teaching adult learners.
• Computer skills including databases, web-based environments, word processing, email and spreadsheets.
• CJIS clearance eligibility required.
• Must pass criminal history background check, employment verification and drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle during work hours.
• MVR check with acceptable criteria.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cognitive-behavioral and parenting skill-building programs to adults in custody.
• Facilitate understanding of program materials and development of pro-social skills.
• Evaluate participant progress and document outcomes.
• Plan, review and prepare class materials and classroom setup.
• Ensure program fidelity via standardized curriculum and delivery model.
• Provide support on cross-department teams regarding equity initiatives.
• Comply with facility rules and safety protocols.
