Responsibilities

• Assists teachers in classroom or other educational settings; oversees or conducts classes during temporary absences; prepares instructional materials and assists with classroom technology and testing.
• Provides tutoring or one-on-one assistance in basic skills including reading, writing, math, and science.
• Monitors students in common areas and chaperones field trips during the school day.
• Follows safety procedures and collaborates with staff to support student learning.
• Performs clerical tasks and communicates with supervisors and staff to coordinate activities.
