Responsibilities

• Greet patients, review process, and schedule appointments for exams or follow-ups.
• Assemble data for complete patient registration, including pre-admission and registration.
• Enter patient demographic information into the EHR system and verify eligibility/authorization.
• Assess patient financial responsibility and collect co-pays and deductibles at admission.
• Explain hospital payment policies and funding options to patients and families.
• Identify eligibility for state-funded programs and coordinate funding referrals.
