Qualifications you’ll bring:
- Two or more years in a customer service or sales environment, with some experience in the healthcare industry such as a hospital, medical office, or health insurance company
- The ability to speak more than one language (e.g., English and Creole, Haitian, Spanish)
- An associate degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- The availability to work full-time, virtually, with some travel including nights and weekends
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Curiosity to foster innovation and pave the way for growth
- Humility to play as a team
- Commitment to being the difference for our customers in every interaction
Your key responsibilities:
- Spearhead our membership growth initiatives in crucial target areas by identifying eligible individuals and seamlessly enrolling them in plans including Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, Qualified Health Plans (QHPs), HARP, Off-Exchange, Medicare Advantage (MA), and Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNP).
- Conduct outreach activities to present our health care solutions at events like health fairs, community expos, festivals, and holiday gatherings, collaborating with our Field Marketing and Community Engagement teams.
- Build positive relationships with community organizations, medical providers, and contacts to develop a strong network within your territory.
- Generate and convert leads into MVP customers.
- Lead two monthly community events to showcase our health solutions and strengthen community ties.
- Travel locally to bring MVP's services to various communities.
- Participate in screenings and provide immunization proof as part of our community health efforts.
- Transport promotional materials up to 30 lbs to educate and empower customers.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support our mission of improving healthcare delivery.
Where you’ll be:
- Remote with local travel in Albany, Schenectady, Columbia, and Greene Counties.
