Community Options, Inc. in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Full-time Bilingual Employment Specialist to coach individuals with developmental disabilities and prepare them for competitive employment.

The role focuses on developing job skills, supporting placement efforts, and ensuring accurate documentation, with flexible hours and a preference for Spanish language skills. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with benefits including health coverage, paid holidays, PTO, and retirement plan options.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish preferred for daily communication with clients and partners.
• Two years’ full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance for people with disabilities to be placed in competitive employment.
• Coach the person with disabilities to develop independent job skills.
• Work side-by-side with persons with disabilities at job sites.
• Ability to work with all types of criminal backgrounds, including sex offenders.
• Reinforce essential skills or teach resume writing, interview techniques, and job applications.
• Accurately complete all required documentation.
• Experience with billing and authorization processes in employment or vocational services.
• Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections or inquiries.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
