Job summary

Lee ES in Irving, Texas is seeking a 3rd Grade BIL Teacher for the 26-27 school year to provide engaging instruction in core subject areas and support students' growth.

The teacher will use data to plan lessons, collaborate with staff, adapt instruction for EL students, manage a positive classroom, and maintain records in line with district policies. In-person, 187 duty days; starting date TBD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and a valid Texas teaching certificate for the assigned grade/subject.
• Completion of Texas Reading Academy required for Elementary.
• ESL Supplemental Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to the core standards.
• Use data to inform instruction and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and assess instructional goals.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learners, including EL students.
• Establish a positive classroom environment and manage behavior.
• Integrate technology to enhance teaching and learning processes.
• Maintain records and communicate with parents/guardians as needed.
• Support district initiatives and attend mandatory meetings.
