Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business, Social Work, or related field, plus two years interviewing experience in a position with a public agency, social service agency, or equivalent public contact office.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Four years’ experience in an equivalent field, or any combination of training, education or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Ability to use computers required. Must speak English and Spanish. Must be able to pass required certification exam for continued employment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and interview applicants for Public Housing and/or Housing Choice Voucher Program housing assistance.
• Explain housing programs available and screen applicants.
• Process applications, verify information, and determine eligibility of applicants.
• Perform related administrative tasks and clerical work.
