The role requires a Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for the assigned subject and level, fluent Spanish, and a background in core subjects. Duties include lesson planning, classroom management, assessment, and collaboration with staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• Special Education Certification is required for all teachers at an Early Childhood campus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the district curriculum.
• Plan lessons with accommodations for individual student differences.
• Present subject matter per TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Use instructional strategies and technology to meet diverse learner needs.
• Assess student learning styles and adjust activities accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Collaborate with staff to set instructional goals and methods.
• Participate in staff development and maintain required records.
• Supervise teacher aide(s) and/or volunteers as assigned.
• Integrate technologies in the teaching/learning process.
