Job summary

Plano ISD seeks a Teacher Elementary- (1st) Bilingual/Dual Language to provide engaging instruction for first grade in a bilingual setting. You will develop lessons, assessments, and activities that honor student diversity while aligning to district curriculum.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, Texas teaching certification, ESL and/or Special Education endorsements as applicable, and the ability to collaborate with families, colleagues, and administrators to support student growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements or training for subject and level assigned.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum.
• Accommodate individual student differences in instruction.
• Present subject matter per TEA guidelines and board policies.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and technology for diverse learners.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Maintain records and prepare reports required by district.
