Job summary

Minnetonka Public Schools is seeking a Six Week Building Float Paraprofessional Substitute for Minnewashta Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year. The position requires fluency in both Spanish and English and will support students across multiple classroom settings.

Responsibilities include supervising the classroom, providing small-group instructional support, assisting students with special needs, and coordinating learning plans under the guidance of the classroom teacher and school

Qualifications

• Fluency in both Spanish and English required.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and through American Sign Language (ASL).
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with coworkers, supervisor, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the classroom and maintain a positive learning environment under the lead teacher.
• Provide instructional support to small groups and individuals.
• Assist students with special needs as needed.
• Support scheduling and reinforcement of learning plans and concepts.
• Adapt instruction to diverse learners and manage behavior across settings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the teacher or administrator.
