Job summary

Minneapolis Public Schools seeks an Elementary Teacher (B/B Spanish) for 5th grade at Green Central for the 2026-2027 school year. A Minnesota Elementary teaching license and bilingual Spanish/English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s or PhD preferred.
• Prior successful student teaching or teaching in urban, multicultural setting.
• Demonstrated ongoing professional development through coursework, collaboration, or job-embedded staff development.

Responsibilities

• Know and implement Minnesota State Standards and district goals.
• Teach required curricula using strategies that foster thinking, reasoning and problem solving.
• Collaborate with peers to develop and implement best practices for diverse learners.
• Assess students’ developmental, cognitive and social needs and tailor instruction accordingly.

Education
