Job summary

Ace Electric is seeking a Training Instructor to deliver engaging instruction across multiple courses, using lectures, hands-on activities, and student-led presentations. You will develop detailed lesson plans and deliver the curriculum clearly to groups of varying sizes, ensuring safety and learning objectives are met.

The role requires mentoring, record-keeping, and the ability to train others on MEWP equipment while upholding the company’s safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Requires strong verbal and written communication skills for instruction and mentoring.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred to support diverse learners.
• Ability to maintain accurate training records and follow document-control procedures.
• Experience teaching electrical concepts and safety procedures in a classroom or hands-on lab.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and electrical theory is essential.
• Must hold OSHA 10/30, MEWP certifications, NFPA 70E training, and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instruction using lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on activities.
• Develop lesson plans for each course ensuring learning objectives are met.
• Deliver curriculum clearly to groups of varying sizes; foster participation and collaboration.
• Create a positive learning environment and maintain accurate training records.
• Operate and train others on MEWP equipment per safety requirements and manufacturer instructions.
• Evaluate student understanding and provide constructive feedback.
