Job summary

Applitrack is seeking bilingual tutors to provide academic tutoring for English Learners and Former English Learners at Medford High School. The role focuses on in-person tutoring in content areas, with collaboration with teachers to support ELs and FEL students.

A Bachelor's degree and EL experience are required; bilingual candidates are preferred. This part-time, non-union, non-benefited position offers 19 hours per week at $26 per hour, with funding pending Title III grant and a contract

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Bilingual in Arabic, Haitian Creole, Spanish or Portuguese.
• Experience working with English Learner students.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring/intervention to ELs and FEL students to support literacy in content areas.
• Collaborate with content teachers to identify ELs/FEL students in need of support.
• Maintain ongoing collaboration with content teachers to provide tutoring.
• Interventions/tutoring in-class or after school; schedules based on student needs.
• Maintain attendance logs.
