Job summary

Cambridge Public Schools is seeking an ELL After School Academic Support Provider to assist English Language Learners in 6–8 SEI program schools in DVUS. The role offers 5 hours per week of after-school academic support in English language development, reading, and math.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree and have at least 3 years of ELL experience in urban schools; English proficiency with another language is preferred but not required. Contract runs Oct 1, 2026 to Jun 30, 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college; coursework in second language acquisition and/or applied linguistics.
• Minimum 3 years experience working with ELL students in a linguistically diverse or urban school setting.
• Proficiency in English and another language is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide after-school academic support for ELL students (reading, math, and language development).
• Work 5 hours per week across 6–8 SEI program schools in DVUS.
