A nonprofit organization in Madison, WI is seeking an Educator for its transitional foster care program for unaccompanied minors. The Educator will create a positive educational environment, develop lesson plans tailored to children's needs, and ensure their safety and well-being. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education, with 2+ years of teaching experience required. Bilingual candidates in English and Spanish are preferred. Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in teaching capacity and lesson planning.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must have a valid Driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsabilités

• Create a developmentally appropriate program for our students.
• Develop weekly lesson plans, activities, and class set-ups.
• Assess children’s needs and adjust lesson plans accordingly.

Connaissances

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently

Bilingual English/Spanish fluency
