Clarvida in California seeks a Bilingual Spanish Education & Employment Specialist to support youth ages 10 to 25 with education and job readiness within the Kickstart program. You will liaise between clients and employers, provide education and employment services, and assist with successful placements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or five years’ experience in job coaching, development, or education services.
• Must be bilingual in Spanish.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of automobile insurance.
• Experience coordinating education and vocational opportunities for youth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain education and job bank records.
• Assess clients for education and employment placement opportunities.
• Refer clients to community and vocational resources.
• Provide one-on-one education and employment support.
• Maintain accurate client records and conduct follow-up to ensure placement.
• Deliver job readiness training to clients.
• Act as liaison between clients and employers/representatives.
• Identify and build upon strengths of consumers and communities served.
• Support consumers’ steps toward Recovery Wellness.
• Create an organizational culture that respects and celebrates diversity.
• Research and utilize best practices to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
