Job summary

Qualifications

• Educational Aide II Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with instruction and prepare instructional materials.
• Assist in guiding individual students or groups in daily activities and instructional exercises.
• Reinforce appropriate behavior per ARD plans and assist with discipline as needed.
• Keep the teacher informed of any special needs or problems of students.
• Supervise students during school day and transitions.
• Maintain administrative records and prepare required reports.
• Participate in in-service trainings and staff meetings.
• Provide orientation to substitute teachers.
• Contribute to a positive school climate through praise and encouragement.
