Job summary

Minneapolis Public Schools in Minneapolis is seeking a School Success Program Assistant (ECFE-SSPA) to provide parent education in infant and child development and school readiness across homes, hospitals, clinics, childcare centers and schools.

The ECFE-SSPA will collaborate with families and partners to recruit participants, coordinate visits, and support transitions to kindergarten, while working evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field as required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with culturally diverse urban communities.
• Experience with families and children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete home, hospital, clinic, and school visits to provide parent education.
• Recruit families to enroll in ECFE programming and services.
• Create and maintain relationships with Early Childhood partners.
