Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Electronic Batch Records (EBR) Specialist for the 2nd shift in Romeoville, IL. The role focuses on creating, maintaining, and validating EBRs to support regulated manufacturing operations, ensuring cGMP compliance and proper documentation practices.

The position requires bilingual Spanish/English communication, high attention to detail, and 0–3 years of manufacturing or related experience.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma.
• 0-3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food, cosmetics, and/or pharmaceuticals.
• Experience with document control and data entry in a regulated environment.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Clone and create Electronic Batch Records (EBRs) from templates per standards.
• Enter product, process, and batch information into the EBR system.
• Review EBRs for accuracy and completeness against source docs and SOPs.
• Verify EBR data against approved documents and instructions.
• Add forms, attachments, and sections as directed by leadership.
• Identify missing information and report discrepancies promptly.
• Update EBRs based on feedback from the project team.
• Track EBR work and monitor open items and follow-ups.
• Follow naming conventions and documentation practices for consistency.
• Communicate progress and blockers to supervisors.
• Support EBR testing, reviews, and readiness activities.
