Job summary

Centro de la Familia is seeking a Teacher Assistant to support early childhood education for infants and toddlers. You will work closely with parents to include them in planning and execution and help provide meals and snacks within a supportive classroom.

Ideal candidates hold a Preschool CDA or plan to earn one within six months, and must have CPR/First Aid permits. Bilingual Spanish/English abilities are preferred for effective family communication.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate holds a Preschool CDA or a plan to earn one within six months.
• CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler permits are required.
• Willingness to work with children with limited English skills and special needs.

Responsibilities

• Administer a developmentally appropriate early childhood program.
• Meet the needs of infants and toddlers and collaborate with families.
• Assist in planning and executing meals and snacks for children.
• Provide coverage for Teacher duties in their absence.
• Support bilingual development and cultural heritage.
