Voices College-Bound Language Academies in San Jose seeks an Elementary Educator to teach in a dual-immersion program, helping students become bilingual and biliterate through rigorous instruction.

The ideal candidate will plan engaging lessons, collaborate with staff and families, and ensure access to standards-based learning in both languages. Full-time exempt, 11-month calendar, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• CA Credential: Multiple Subject or intern credential.
• Valid bilingual authorization (BCLAD or equivalent).
• Knowledge of all K-5 subjects per CA CCSS.
• Commitment to Voices Academy mission and values.

Responsabilités

• Establish inclusive culture and college preparation for all students.
• Implement dual-language model with fidelity in both languages.
• Plan lessons aligned to CA CCSS with clear objectives.
• Support social-emotional development and safe classroom environment.
• Monitor progress, record attendance, and use data to adapt instruction.
• Collaborate with families, colleagues, and partners.
