Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Mount Prospect, IL is seeking a part-time Salesperson to support the DIY business and hit sales/service goals. You will have strong knowledge of store systems, inventory, and basic automotive knowledge, with duties including DIY services and inventory management.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish, 2–3 years retail sales experience, and flexibility to work various shifts. Training and development are provided in a customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• 2–3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment.
• Basic math skills for transactions and inventory checks.
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Must be able to source parts from stores, hubs, and external suppliers.
• Knowledge of inventory processes and store operations.
• Ability to operate POS and parts lookup systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent selling experience for DIY customers in person and by phone.
• Achieve personal sales goal and support store sales targets.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Maintain store product placement and operational standards.
• Participate in inventory processes such as cycle counts and back stock.
• Safely deliver parts to customers as needed.
