This role is available as both full-time and part-time, offering daily living assistance, community activities, and thorough documentation to ensure independence, dignity, and safety for those served.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Experience as DSP, caregiver, direct care, or healthcare support preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities a plus.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable and responsible.
• Reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care as needed
• Support individuals in developing independence and achieving personal goals
• Assist with community activities, appointments, and social engagement
• Provide transportation or accompany individuals to community activities when required
• Communicate effectively with individuals, families, caregivers, and the care team
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and activities
• Follow individualized support plans and agency policies
• Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
