Job summary
Worker’s Justice Project (WJP) seeks a Director of Development and Communications to partner with the Executive Director and leadership to advance fundraising, media relations, and community engagement for WJP and its divisions in New York City, including Los Deliveristas Unidos, Liberty Cleaners, and Construction Workers.
This role will design and oversee fundraising strategies and communications campaigns to support events and campaigns.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Executive Director to support fundraising, media relations and community engagement.
- Develop and oversee fundraising and communications strategies increasing donor support and awareness.
- Collaborate with leadership and advisory board to align priorities with WJP’s mission.
