Job summary

Lumio is seeking a Bilingual Patient Coordinator in Kansas to connect with patients by phone and support the front-office team. You will educate patients on financial options and help coordinate appointments with providers to ensure optimal care.

The ideal candidate will have dental office experience, be bilingual in Spanish, and proficient with computers. Hours include Tue–Thu mornings with some Monday/Friday phone coverage; a friendly, patient-focused environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Open Dental experience preferred.
• Dental experience required.
• Bilingual in Spanish required.
• Proficient with a computer; strong communication and phone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Handles incoming phone calls and schedules patients.
• Verifies insurance eligibility, collects co-pays, and updates patient accounts.
• Coordinates scheduling with Dentist and Hygienist to fit patient needs.
• Maintains patient care database with new information as it becomes available.
• Schedules and confirms patient appointments.
• Directs arriving patients to waiting areas and updates on wait times.
• Follows policies to prevent spread of diseases and protect staff and patients.
