Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and visitors in person or virtually with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Gathers visit reason, schedules return visits, and confirms appointments; enters demographic and financial information into EHR (EPIC Wisdom).
• Checks in patients and verifies accuracy of information.
• Processes co-payments and completes daily deposit reconciliation; assists with bank runs.
• Discovers missing information in schedules and patient charts for check-in.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and coverage information.
• Scans and indexes documents into medical records per policy.
