Job summary

Vista Community Clinic (VCC) is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to provide chair side assistance, support four handed dentistry, and help manage patient flow across operatories. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication and experience in a high-volume practice.

Responsibilities include dental procedures support, x-ray operation, and patient-preparation activities under supervision. Competitive benefits apply and evening/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with post high school vocational training.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Certification of Completion of Registered Dental Assistant Exam.
• Coronal Polishing Certificate.
• Radiation Safety Certificate.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Operational experience with x-ray machine, sterilizing equipment, ultrasonic equipment, laboratory equipment and other dental practice related equipment.
• Minimum two years' experience as a registered dental assistant in a high volume practice.
• Availability and willingness to work evenings and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair side assistance to the dentist in four handed dentistry.
• Maintain smooth flow of patients from reception to operatories and coordinate activities of several operatories.
• Operate x-ray equipment to take radiographs and process images.
