Job summary

Family Health Centers of San Diego is seeking a Regular Full Time dental assistant to support the dentist and hygienist chair side, translate treatment discussions, and help with charting and front office tasks. The role requires travel within San Diego County and a California driver’s license with adequate insurance.

Bilingual Spanish/English is required. The successful candidate will maintain instruments, sterilize equipment, perform x-rays, and ensure timely, accurate documentation in line

Qualifications

• Ability to travel as needed within San Diego County.
• Active Class C California driver’s license with proof of liability insurance at $100,000; limits apply.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist and hygienist chair side; prepare and sterilize instruments and x-ray equipment.
• Chart diagnoses and assist front office with charts, recalls, billing, and filing.
• Take high-quality dental x-rays; ensure documentation meets insurance requirements.
