Job summary

Douglas Herrera DDS MSCD PA in Miami seeks a fully bilingual dental assistant (English/Spanish) for a small endodontics practice. The role may be full-time or part-time, with hours from 10am to 5pm, or to 6pm, four days a week.

You will chair-side assist, manage room setup and sterilization, take X-rays/CBCTs, present treatment plans, collect copays, document care, and answer the phone when the front desk is busy.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual English/Spanish communication.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Previous dental office experience preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA and infection control regulations.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Team player with good references.

Responsibilities

• Chair-side assisting (assistant to main assistant or direct).
• Set up rooms, sterilization, taking X-rays/CBCTs, ordering from vendors.
• Assist in presenting treatment plans chairside and collecting copayments.
• Documentation and answering the phone when front desk is busy.
