Job summary

General Dentistry Office is seeking a part-time dental assistant to join our busy practice. You will work under a dentist’s supervision, provide chairside assistance, help with charting, radiographs, and operatory setup, and maintain a clean, professional environment.

Strong communication, reliability, and multitasking are essential. Experience with Eaglesoft and Spanish-speaking ability are a plus, with scheduling and patient communication duties also included.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• 1-year Dental Assistant Experience is Preferred.
• Spanish speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work under the general supervision and guidance of a Dentist.
• Provide chairside assistance to the Dentist during dental examinations and treatment.
• Charting during the dental examination.
• Take X-rays.
• Sterilize and maintain instruments, as well as the Sterilization Area.
• Set up and break down operatories.
• Assist with supply inventory and ordering.
• Maintain a clean and professional office environment.
• Assist with scheduling patients, presenting and/or explaining treatment plans, and taking payments.
• Contacting and following up with patient treatment plans and recalls.
• Maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
