Job summary

Mercy Dental Group's Fitchburg Springs Dental office is hiring a full-time Bilingual Dental Assistant to join our patient-focused team. The role requires English/Spanish bilingual abilities and involves chair-side assisting, room setup, x-rays, and sterilization.

Work hours are Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–4:00 PM with no Fridays or weekends; compensation offered at $20–$26 per hour based on experience, plus comprehensive insurance and paid time off as part of our benefits package.

Qualifications

• Setting up treatment rooms prior to patient appointments
• Taking down and cleaning treatment rooms
• Instrument sterilization
• Stocking and cleaning treatment rooms, sterilization, and lab

Work Schedule:

• Monday (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM) clinical hours
• Tuesday (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM) clinical hours
• Wednesday (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM) clinical hours
• Thursday (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM) clinical hours

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Chair-side assisting

Position Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to deal effectively with multiple personalities at all levels
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required

Salary:

• $20/hr - $26/hr
• Based on experience

Experience:

• Dental: 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred
