Job summary

Capital Management Services (CMS) is expanding our third-party collections team and is seeking motivated, results-driven Bilingual Debt Collectors fluent in English and Spanish. This is a performance-driven role negotiating payment solutions for delinquent accounts, with an emphasis on professional communication and systematic documentation.

We offer a full-time, in-person position in Buffalo, NY with paid training, base wage of $18.00/hour plus commission, and a $150 sign-on bonus after 60

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Third-party collections experience preferred.
• Call center, sales, financial services, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation and objection-handling skills.
• Comfortable discussing outstanding balances and requesting payment.
• Strong communication and active-listening skills.
• Goal-oriented and motivated by measurable performance.
• Professional during challenging conversations.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls regarding delinquent accounts.
• Handle inbound calls from English- and Spanish-speaking consumers.
• Discuss balances and resolution options; negotiate payment arrangements.
• Document arrangements and process payments accurately.
• Maintain detailed account notes and follow up on commitments.
• Meet individual collection, productivity, and quality targets.
• Follow company policies and applicable collection regulations.
