Job summary

PLS Financial Services is seeking a Customer Care Representative in Oak Brook, IL to service internal and external customers and provide information on financial products and services. You will handle inquiries, document interactions, and uphold customer experience standards.

The role requires one or more years of customer service, HS diploma, and flexibility to work evenings/holidays. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401k, vacation, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one or more years of customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to communicate clearly; Spanish is a plus.
• Comfortable with fast-paced environments and multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Address escalated customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Determine causes, explain solutions, and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and transactions.
• Educate customers about products and services.
• Handle interactions in line with policies, procedures and laws.
• Maintain knowledge of PLS products and services.
• Maintain a polite and professional phone manner.
• Meet QA requirements and other performance metrics.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
