Job summary

Seneca Family of Agencies is seeking a clinician for Mobile Response Team in California. The role involves crisis intervention, risk assessment, and connecting youth and families to community resources.

You will work on timely care planning, documentation, and supervision within a multidisciplinary team. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with on-site work, a starting salary in the noted range, a $2,000 sign-on bonus, licensure incentives, and opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling.
  • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic crisis intervention, stabilization, risk assessment, and collaboration in times of acute crisis.
  • Provide case management services to ensure the successful transition of clients and their families to community-based resources.
  • Provide services to clients that focus on skill building in all life domains.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with community members and providers.
  • Aid in care planning and consultation to team members on clinical issues, including casework issues, as appropriate.
  • Participate in all treatment reviews, program meetings, trainings, and client meetings when necessary.
  • Complete clinical documentation, including mental health notes and other paperwork, service tracking documentation, assessments, and treatment planning.
  • Participate in weekly individual and group supervision.
  • Adhere to clinical best practices.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
  • Participate in providing emergency on-call response as scheduled.

About Mrt

Mobile Response Team (MRT) is a short-term program comprised of a team of clinicians and counselors who can support youth in crisis when there are concerns for immediate safety. MRT supports youth and families by completing a comprehensive risk assessment to determine level of risk, needs of the youth and to explore strengths of the client, family, and community supports. MRT works to facilitate the creation of a safety plan to support youth and their caregivers to minimize the instances and severity of future crises. MRT supports youth with linkage and advocacy in order to connect them and their families to long term services if needed.

Qualifications

Required


  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling.

  • Eligible to register/registered with the CA BBS.

  • At least 21 years of age.

  • Bilingual Spanish

  • TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.


Preferred


  • Experience working with children in out-of-home care.

Schedule


  • Full-Time, On-site

  • Wed - Sat, 8am - 6pm

  • 1 overnight on-call shift every week, 10pm - 8am

  • Flexibility with schedule required to accommodate schedules of clients and families.


Benefits


  • Starting at $90,559 - $104,559 per year.

    • Actual salary dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role.

    • $2,000 sign-on bonus for new Seneca employees.

    • Additional $4000 salary increase for BBS licensure.

    • Additional salary increase upon passing of a bilingual proficiency exam.
