Job summary

The City of Phoenix Municipal Court is seeking a part-time Court Interpreter (Spanish) to provide interpreting and translation services for court proceedings and related events. This job-share position offers 20 hours per week across two schedules, with day-to-day work supervised by the Court Interpreter Supervisor.

Ideal candidates will have two years of interpreting experience in a court setting and hold a Tier 3 or Tier 4 Arizona Court Interpreter Credential.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience providing interpreting services in a court setting.
• Tier 3 or Tier 4 Arizona Court Interpreter Credential required.
• Bi-Lingual Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Spanish language interpreting and translation services during court proceedings and related events.
• Work under the supervision of the Court Interpreter Supervisor and be evaluated on service quality and results achieved.
