Job summary

FedEx Canada is seeking a route courier to provide courteous pickup and delivery of packages on an assigned route. You will represent the company professionally, ensure proper labeling and paperwork, and operate tracking systems to keep customers informed across Canada, US and international requirements.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient pickup and delivery of packages on an assigned route.
• Ensure packages conform to FedEx Canada features of service, proper labeling, and neat paperwork.
• Operate computerized tracking and dispatch systems with accurate information.
• Represent the company professionally and maintain a neat appearance.
• Seek additional business from current customers and inform sales of leads and market changes.
• May perform loading/unloading and sorting and scanning of packages as workload dictates.
