Job summary

Pasona N A, Inc. in Bremen, GA is seeking a Japanese bilingual Accounting Assistant Manager to support day-to-day accounting, financial close, and reporting. You will work closely with the Accounting Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance on a global scale.

The role requires at least a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and 3+ years in accounting, with strong Excel and ERP skills, and preferred experience in manufacturing and international operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with month-end closing activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support daily accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support cash management and banking activities.
• Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.
• Review accounting transactions and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Support tax compliance and financial reporting requirements.
• Assist in improving accounting procedures, workflows, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with various departments and external accounting partners.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
