Job summary

Building One Community (B1C) in Stamford, CT seeks a Community Support Coordinator to provide on-site case management and family support services to immigrant individuals and families. The role focuses on intake assessments, referrals, connecting clients to B1C programs and community resources, with follow-up to support family stability and well-being.

This part-time, 25-hour-per-week position reports to the Family Services Manager and may require occasional evenings or weekends; collaboration

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English with strong written and verbal communication.
• At least 2 years of social services or case management experience with immigrant/underserved populations.
• Bachelor's degree in a social services field required.
• Ability to work with diverse populations in a trauma-informed and compassionate manner.
• Willingness to travel to satellite offices and off-site locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Meet with program beneficiaries to assess needs during intake and develop a plan to address needs.
• Provide general case management and connect beneficiaries to internal and external services for critical needs.
• Establish and maintain up-to-date case files; enter and manage data in Salesforce; generate reports and track outcomes.
• Collaborate with Family Services and Community Engagement teams on events and partnerships with community agencies.
• Support onsite events and help beneficiaries navigate public benefits and community resources.
