Job summary

Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish and English with demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Services, Community Engagement, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of two years of experience in community outreach or nonprofit work.
• Experience working with diverse communities across cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and project management skills; comfortable presenting to groups.
• Capable of working independently in community settings and representing B1C publicly.
• Reliable transportation for regular travel to community sites and events.
• Availability for some evenings and weekends based on outreach events.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Salesforce or other databases is a plus.
• Commitment to B1C's mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Implement outreach and engagement activities to raise awareness of B1C.
• Maintain a presence in priority communities and promote programs through networks.
• Support participant recruitment and engagement via grassroots outreach and events.
• Represent B1C at community fairs, meetings, and local gatherings; deliver presentations.
• Gather feedback through surveys and conversations; share insights with teams.
• Identify new outreach opportunities and track effectiveness of approaches.
• Collaborate with program, development, and communications teams on priorities.
• Assist in planning and executing major organizational events and engagements.
• Maintain organized records of outreach activities, referrals, and contacts.
