Job summary

The Fairfield First 5 Center seeks a Spanish bilingual Community Resource & Child Development Specialist to support families with young children through relationship-based, family-centered services.

You will lead parenting education, ASQ screenings, and connect families to housing, childcare, and public services, while collaborating with a small team to provide inclusive, culturally responsive early learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 3 years working with families and young children.
• At least 1 year of professional ASQ experience and early intervention exposure.
• Experience collaborating with community agencies and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Triple P, provide parent education, and lead family-centered sessions.
• Conduct developmental screenings using ASQ and interpret results.
• Navigate community resources and public services for families in need.
• Support planning of hands-on playgroups and early learning activities.
