Job summary

Tepeyac Community Health Center is seeking a Community Outreach & Engagement Supervisor to lead daily outreach activities and engagement operations in Denver. You will supervise outreach staff, develop health education programs, and build partnerships with schools and community partners to improve access to care for Latino/a communities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; degree in Public Health, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
• Five or more years of customer service or healthcare experience, with at least two years in a leadership, supervisory, outreach, or healthcare operations role.
• Experience in health promotion, community outreach, patient services, or healthcare administration preferred.
• Experience working with Latino/a and other underserved communities.
• Oral and written fluency in English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct day-to-day supervision of Community Outreach Specialists.
• Increase employee engagement, retention, and performance through coaching, mentoring, and recognition.
• Monitor staff performance, attendance, professionalism, and adherence to organizational standards.
• Provide real-time feedback, corrective coaching, and performance improvement support.
• Participate in employee evaluations and professional development planning.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.
• Act as a leader in the clinic, advancing Tepeyac’s strategic priorities through staff and community engagement.
• Lead onboarding, orientation, competency validation, and ongoing training for staff, students, and volunteers.
