Job summary

World Relief is expanding its team in the Chicago area to engage immigrant communities, gather feedback on needs, and connect people to services and partnerships. This limited-term role supports outreach, workshops, and community-building across Aurora and DuPage.

The Community Ambassador will collaborate with other teams, plan activities, and develop informational materials in target languages to improve access to resources and policy updates in the United States.

Qualifications

• Mature Christian faith and alignment with World Relief's mission and values.
• Fluent in Spanish or Ukrainian.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR standards.
• Member of an immigrant community.
• MS Office skills required.
• Ability to drive a 15-passenger van.

Responsibilities

• Outreach to community members, identify needs, refer to services.
• Assist newcomers in navigating community resources.
• Gather feedback and relay trends to World Relief.
• Build relationships with community partners and share information.
• Engage with diverse immigrant communities to raise service awareness.
• Plan and participate in educational groups and events (in person and virtual).
• Create multilingual materials about services and policy updates.
• Document activities, referrals, and outcomes accurately.
• Attend meetings and trainings; maintain client files.
